Introducing “Crooked System” \nAs you all know\, we’ve picked MANY\, many barrels over the years\, but this is our very first gin. Crafted in collaboration with American Spirit\, it’s our first dive into the world of hand-picked gin barrels. Trust us\, this one’s a game-changer. \nWe had a blast selecting this barrel\, and we’re (quite literally) bursting with excitement to share it with you. \n\n\n\nDetails: \nBarrel #82 \nBarreled on 12/07/2022 \nBottled on 4/09/2024 \nProof: 107.4 \nTasting Notes: \n\nNose: Opens with fresh grass and orange blossom honey.\nPalate: Orange creamsicle\, puff pastry\, burnt sugar\, slight vegetal notes on the backend\nFinish: Does not drink as hot as it sounds. Great in a cocktail or stirred and served up.\n\n\n\n\n\nAnd The Old Favorite: “Coffee is for Closers”  \nAnother Unsukay / ASW collab. This one’s for the bourbon lovers. \n\n\n\nDetails: \nMashbill: 51% corn\, 45% wheat & 4% malted barley \n116.1 proof \nTasting Notes: \n\nLooks like coffee coming out of the barrel. Dark & rich. We had to filter it twice as chunks of wood from the toasted staves were very prevalent when we took our samples.\nNose: Sweet nose of heavy vanilla\, pecan pie & butterscotch. Makes your mouth water.\nPalate: Tiramisu\, coffee\, mocha and hints of fruitcake \nFinish: The viscosity is awesome. Coats your mouth & really lingers.
