Three New Barrels. Three Amigos. One Very Lucky Horseshoe.
Local Three may be famous for our whiskey collection, but we’re equal opportunity booze enthusiasts. Over the years, we’ve partnered with legendary whiskey distillers and hand-selected multiple private barrels with Casa Herradura. If it’s about spirits, we’re into it.
Join us for a one-night-only tequila dinner celebrating five exclusive Herradura Double Reposado barrel selections—three brand-new releases from our 2025 trip to Casa Herradura, plus two favorites from our 2024 visit. Every barrel is available exclusively at our restaurants and paired with a family-style Mexican feast.
Since 1870, Casa Herradura has crafted tequila from 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave at its historic hacienda in Amatitán, Jalisco. Their unique Double Reposado process finishes each private barrel in newly charred American oak, creating tequilas with incredible depth and character.
Last fall, we traveled to Jalisco to choose barrels that would make the Three Amigos proud. There were no real bullets, but there was plenty of tequila, a legendary 150-year-old hacienda, and enough horseshoes to convince us luck was on our side.
Meet our newest amigos:
My Little Buttercup
Bright citrus, pineapple, vanilla, baked agave, and honey. Smooth, tropical, and the gateway tequila for bourbon lovers.
Plethora of Piñatas
Fresh pear, dried apricot, toasted almond, and gentle pepper spice. Complex enough to keep you saying, “Yes, I know what a plethora is.”
El Guapo
Caramel apple, cinnamon-spiced banana bread, roasted agave, and warm oak. Big personality. Even bigger finish.
Plus, Two Returning Legends
Mussy’s Angels
Chosen by Muss, Tricia, Susie, and Christian on our 2024 barrel trip. Bright fruit, baked agave, toasted coconut, and honey make this one equally at home in a Margarita or over a big rock.
The Chaperone
Because every tequila trip needs one. Baking spices, orange blossom, butterscotch, leather, and a finish that’ll make bourbon drinkers feel right at home.

Yes. Yes, we do.
